Kieran Richardson: 'Aston Villa can upset Liverpool'

Aston Villa's Kieran Richardson believes that they can cause an upset against Liverpool at Anfield this weekend.

Kieran Richardson has claimed that the Aston Villa squad will head to Liverpool this weekend without any fear.

The Villans have a good recent record at Anfield after they followed up their 3-1 win in December 2012 with a 2-2 draw back in January, and Richardson believes that the team can travel to Merseyside in confident mood.

The Mirror quotes him as saying: "We are full of confidence at the moment and playing well. We look solid so I don't see why we can't go there and cause an upset.

"We have the players to do that. Not everyone expects us to win so there is no pressure and if we can get a result it would be a great thing."

Villa are currently third in the Premier League.
