Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that his side need to keep cooler heads if they are to challenge for the title this season.
The Reds overtook Manchester City as the league's leading goalscorers this season courtesy of a 4-3 win over Swansea City yesterday, although that match also showcased the defensive frailties that threaten to derail their title bid.
Rodgers acknowledged that his side would need to put in more assured displays over the remainder of the campaign, but is confident that they can raise their game against the teams around them in the table.
"I will want us to show more calmness at times. You have to have solidity and we were nervy from behind. That's something we need to be much better at," Rodgers is quoted as saying by PA.
"But I think in the big games we've been at our best this season - Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton - and we've got some of them still to come here."
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Chelsea with 11 games to play.
