Daniel Sturridge "pushing" for return

Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge says that he is working as hard as possible to return from his injury.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has admitted that he is "pushing" as hard as he can to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered in the 3-2 win against Manchester City on Monday night.

Sturridge said that he was very frustrated to have picked up the blow but was working to ensure that he did not miss too many games, with the club yet to confirm the extent of the injury.

Liverpool are currently in pole position in the Premier League title race, two points ahead of Chelsea and six in front of City, who have a game in hand.ID:150350: cacheID:150350:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1512:No Data Analysis info
