Team News: Steven Naismith, Ivo Pinto handed Norwich City debuts against Liverpool

Steven Naismith and Ivo Pinto will make their Norwich City debuts against Liverpool this afternoon as both are named in the starting XI at Carrow Road.

Manager Alex Neil has three new signings at his disposal and has opted to start two of them, but Timm Klose, who recently joined the club from Wolfsburg, has had to settle for a spot on the bench.

Overall, four changes have been made to the side that suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend as Ryan Bennett, Vadis Odjidja, Alex Tettey and Matt Jarvis have made way for Pinto, Nathan Redmond, Graham Dorrans and Naismith.

As for Liverpool, manager Jurgen Klopp has rung the changes from the midweek 3-0 win over Exeter City in the FA Cup.

Adam Lallana was an injury doubt for the match, but he is declared fit enough to be in the squad as the midfielder has been handed a spot on the bench.

Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho form a centre-back partnership, with Lucas Leiva, Jordan Henderson and Emre Can in midfield.

Once again, Klopp has opted against playing a recognised striker as James Milner, Jordon Ibe and Roberto Firmino form an attacking trio.

Norwich City: Rudd; Pinto, Martin, Bassong, Brady; Redmond, Dorrans, Howson, Hoolahan; Naismith; Mbokani
