Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has delivered a concerning update on Virgil van Dijk ahead of Sunday's Premier League encounter with Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

During Friday's pre-match press conference, the Reds boss revealed that his captain had not taken part in team training for the whole week, so he will require a once-over for the weekend.

Liverpool are already managing without Bobby Clark (unspecified), Diogo Jota (hip), Joel Matip (knee), Ben Doak (knee) and Thiago Alcantara (muscle), although Conor Bradley has now resumed full practice after an ankle concern.

Bradley will play second fiddle to Trent Alexander-Arnold this weekend, though, while Van Dijk's question mark means that Jarell Quansah and Ibrahima Konate could act as the central pairing in front of Alisson Becker.

Andrew Robertson, one of the few Liverpool players to do himself justice in last weekend's West Ham United draw, continues on the left, while Wataru Endo should retain his place in the number six position too.

Alexis Mac Allister's spot is not up for debate either, but there is scope for Dominik Szoboszlai to force his way back into the engine room, where Ryan Gravenberch may be the unfortunate soul to drop out.

After last weekend's tense touchline exchange with Mohamed Salah, Klopp has reiterated that there is nothing more to their brief touchline quarrel, and bringing the Egyptian back into the first XI would also douse the fire.

Salah could be one of two offensive names to return to the trident, as Darwin Nunez is threatening Cody Gakpo's place, but Luis Diaz is a sure-fire starter on the left.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Konate, Robertson; Szoboszlai, Endo, Mac Allister; Salah, Nunez, Diaz
