The agent of Anzhi Makhachkala striker Lacina Traore has revealed that Liverpool are interested in signing his client.
The Reds are expected to move for a striker in the January transfer window and it is understood that Traore caught their attention in the Europa League meeting between the pair last week.
"Aside from Liverpool, Udinese are another on the list of clubs to have made contact about the purchase of Traore," Dmitry Selyuk told Izvestia.
"I'm afraid the Italian side won't be able to meet the player's valuation."
The 22-year-old has a contract at the Russian club until 2016.
