The agent of Malaga goalkeeper and reported Liverpool target Guillermo Ochoa has said that his client could leave the club in January.
Ochoa earned a Bosman switch to the Spanish club in the summer after producing a series of impressive performances in Mexico's World Cup campaign.
However, his representative Jorge Berlanga says that Malaga have received enquiries over the 29-year-old, and says that the Albicelestes would consider an offer.
"It's true - there was a meeting with Malaga and it was quite positive," he told Calcio Mercato. "We will continue to talk to the club and, if a good offer arrives in January, we'll assess it and see if we can reach an agreement that suits all parties.
"It's obvious that we have to do what's best for Guillermo. We have to get an offer that sparks his enthusiasm.
"There's been some contact already, but as yet there hasn't been anything to enchant us enough to seek a change of scenery."
Last week, Malaga sporting director Mario Husillos denied that they had already struck a deal with Liverpool.
