Wigan Athletic striker reportedly tells the club that he wants to be reunited with former boss Roberto Martinez at Everton.

Wigan Athletic striker Arouna Kone has reportedly told the club that he wants to leave for Everton this summer.

The Ivorian forward informed the Latics of his decision to move on from the DW Stadium last week, and has since told them that he has his heart set on a switch to Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mail.

Kone wants to be reunited with his former boss Roberto Martinez, who took over as the Blues manager earlier this month.

The former Sevilla striker, who has a £6m buyout clause, is also reportedly attracting interest from Liverpool, Norwich City and Swansea City.
