Norwich City are reportedly the latest Premier League club interested in securing the services of Wigan Athletic striker Arouna Kone.
The Ivory Coast forward signaled his intention to leave the DW Stadium last weekend, revealing that he has received offers from a number of unnamed teams.
Everton and West Bromwich Albion have been leading the race for Kone's signature but Norwich manager Chris Hughton is also prepared to meet his £5m release clause, according to the Daily Mail.
Canaries boss Hughton has already secured the services of Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel for next season, but is desperate to bolster his squad with added firepower.
Kone scored 13 goals in his first season for Wigan, helping the club win the FA Cup but failed to keep the Latics in the top flight.
