Mario Balotelli to undergo Liverpool medical

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli will move a step closer to joining Liverpool today when he undergoes a medical.

AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli is travelling to England as he looks to complete a proposed move to Liverpool.

The former Manchester City forward has been linked with a return to the Premier League throughout the summer, with Arsenal having previously been associated with his signature.

However, Liverpool are poised to secure a £16m deal for the Italian attacker as they look to replace Luis Suarez, who left for Barcelona last month.

Any potential switch has come too late for Balotelli to feature against Manchester City on Monday evening, but the 24-year-old will move a step closer to joining the Merseyside outfit when he arrives in England for a medical later today, according to Sky Sports News.
