Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly prepared to hand academy graduate Rhian Brewster a chance to make an impact in the first-team squad.

Rhian Brewster will reportedly be provided with an opportunity to impress Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in the coming weeks.

Brewster spent the second half of last season on loan at Swansea City, where he contributed 11 goals from 22 appearances in the Championship.

That puts the academy graduate in a position where he could depart Anfield in order to spend a year at another Premier League club.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Klopp is open to the idea of the 20-year-old providing backup to his established stars.

Liverpool are restricted in the transfer market this summer, potentially leaving Klopp with a scenario where he cannot replace Adam Lallana or bring in a new frontman.

With that in mind, the German will now reassess the development of Brewster during a brief pre-season schedule.
