Manchester City and Liverpool reportedly both eye swoops for Flamengo teenager Reinier.

Manchester City and Liverpool are reportedly both interested in signing Flamengo teenager Reinier in this summer's transfer window.

Reinier, who is yet to make his first-team debut for Flamengo, was linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this year.

According to the Daily Mail, City and Liverpool are both monitoring developments regarding the 17-year-old, who has been impressing for his club's Under-20 side.

The report claims that scouts from both English clubs are expected to watch him in action for Brazil's Under-17 team against Paraguay this week.

AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Everton have also been credited with an interest in Reinier, who has a contract with Flamengo until December 2020.

City and Liverpool, meanwhile, will also lock horns in the Community Shield on August 4.
