Owen Coyle believes that Bolton Wanderers are unlikely to sign Barcelona's Jeffren.

Owen Coyle has admitted that Bolton Wanderers are unlikely to sign Barcelona playmaker Jeffren.

Reports had suggested that Wanderers successfully bid £5m for the Spanish Under-21 international, but manager Coyle has insisted that this is not the case.

"I don't wait and see with anyone," said Coyle. "Either you want to play for this football club or you don't.

"I have not talked to Jeffren or his representatives, so the story makes it out that it's a bit further down the line than it is, but if it isn't going to happen, then we'll move on."

According to Sky Sports, Coyle has now turned his attentions to Liverpool centre forward David N'Gog.
