Inter Milan interested in re-signing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli?

Inter Milan are reportedly considering making an offer to re-sign unwanted Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, which would see him reunited with manager Roberto Mancini.

Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move to bring unwanted Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli back to San Siro.

The 25-year-old has been told to find a new club by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, but Inter's city rivals AC Milan, who had Balotelli on loan last season, have turned down the chance to sign him on a permanent basis.

The likes of Sampdoria and Besiktas have been credited with an interest in the Italy international, while there has also been speculation linking him with a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League.

However, Tuttosport reports that Inter are contemplating bringing the mercurial striker back to the club, where he spent three years before joining Manchester City.

A return would see him link up with Roberto Mancini once again, with the pair known to have had a tumultuous relationship during their time together at the Etihad Stadium.

The report goes on to state that Inter are looking to bring in cheap options this summer and see Balotelli as a possible candidate given Liverpool's desire to sell.

Balotelli scored 28 goals in 86 appearances during his first spell at Inter between 2007 and 2010.
