Wolves manager Kenny Jackett confirms interest in Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo

Kenny Jackett confirms that Wolverhampton Wanderers are in talks with Liverpool over the potential loan signing of Sheyi Ojo.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has confirmed his interest in signing Liverpool's Sheyi Ojo.

Reports on Sunday suggested that the 18-year-old is set for a loan move to Molineux, with Reds manager Brendan Rodgers wanting the youngster to gain more first-team action.

Jackett has now confirmed that talks with Liverpool are underway, but are not quite as far along as those which look certain to seal a loan move for Cardiff City striker Adam Le Fondre in the coming days.

Ojo, who had a loan spell at Wigan Athletic last season, scored the winner in Liverpool's 2-1 pre-season friendly win against Swindon Town on Sunday.
