Liverpool hold interest in Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Valon Berisha?

Liverpool reportedly hold an interest in signing Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Valon Berisha during the summer transfer window.

Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Valon Berisha has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool.

The Merseyside giants have already agreed to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, and it appears that Jurgen Klopp could target a move for another midfielder who represents a club sponsored by the drinks company.

According to Spox, Klopp is considering a move for Berisha, who has established himself as one of the key men at the Austrian outfit.

The 25-year-old has played an important role in the club's run to the Europa League quarter-finals, with five goals being scored in 10 appearances.

Berisha - who now represents Kosovo after previously playing for Norway - has just over two years remaining on his contract.
