Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that the club are in discussions with Cardiff City over the sale of forward Craig Bellamy.
The Welshman, who competed with Team GB in the London 2012 Games before the side was knocked out by South Korea on penalties, has been linked with a return to the Cardiff City Stadium in recent weeks.
It is believed that the Merseyside club are willing to sell the 33-year-old, who returned to Anfield last summer on a two-year deal, and have begun talks with the Championship club over a potential move.
There were reports that Queens Park Rangers were interested in the forward. However, it appears that Bellamy would prefer a switch to Cardiff.
