Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg winger Takumi Minamino during one of the upcoming transfer windows.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Red Bull Salzburg winger Takumi Minamino as a potential signing.

Either side of their Champions League meeting with the Austrian outfit earlier this week, Liverpool have been linked with both Erling Haaland and Dominik Szoboszlai.

However, according to Calciomercato, the European champions are also considering an approach for Minamino, who scored during the game at Anfield on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old has netted six times in all competitions this season, taking his tally since moving to Salzburg in 2015 to 61 goals from 184 appearances in all competitions.

The Japan international has less than two years remaining on his contract, putting Salzburg in a position where they may have to consider any offers for the attacker.
