Liverpool have reportedly approached Paris Saint-Germain to enquire over the availability of Kylian Mbappe during this summer's transfer window.
The France international's existing deal with PSG is due to expire next June, and Real Madrid are said to be preparing to make a move for the attacker after this summer's European Championship.
Liverpool have also been linked with the World Cup winner over the last 12 months, though, and according to Marca, the Reds have now launched an enquiry for the 22-year-old.
The report claims that Jurgen Klopp's side would have to move players out of the club before being able to afford to sign the Frenchman.
Meanwhile, it is alleged that Mbappe strongly favours a move to Real Madrid and will push to join the Spanish giants either this summer or on a free transfer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
The former Monaco youngster, who is currently representing his country at Euro 2020, scored 42 times and registered 11 assists in 47 appearances at club level last season.
