Liverpool are reportedly preparing a €80m (£68m) offer for Real Madrid's Rodrygo, having identified the attacker as a 'top target' during the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old has been a regular for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign, making 19 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists in the process.
The Brazil international still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his contract at Bernabeu, but according to El Nacional, Liverpool have identified him as a leading transfer target.
The report claims that the Merseyside giants had a €60m (£51m) offer for the attacker rejected during the summer transfer window.
However, the Reds are allegedly prepared to pay €80m (£68m) to bring him to Anfield at the start of 2022, as the English club's head coach Jurgen Klopp targets attacking reinforcements.
Rodrygo has scored 11 goals and registered 14 assists in 78 appearance for Real Madrid since arriving at the club from Santos in July 2019.
