Liverpool are reportedly not interested in making a move for Bournemouth and Scotland winger Ryan Fraser, contrary to earlier thinking.
The former Aberdeen man shot to prominence last season by scoring seven goals and recording 14 assists for Eddie Howe's men in the Premier League, form which ultimately saw him linked with a summer move to Arsenal.
Fraser's current deal with the Cherries expires at the end of the season and it had been suggested by some outlets on Monday that Jurgen Klopp's men were planning to test Bournemouth's resolve in January.
However, the Liverpool Echo reports that Klopp is actually happy with the current options he has at his disposal and that he will not be looking to make a bid for Fraser.
The same is thought to be true of the Reds' pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, who is also being tracked by Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
Liverpool were expected to put in an offer for the 22-year-old in January but the report suggests that Klopp is not looking to make any additions to his table-topping side when the transfer window reopens.
