Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly indicated that he will not be in the market for a new striker this summer.
The Merseyside giants have been linked with a move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, who has scored 18 goals for the Bundesliga outfit in all competitions this season.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp has no intention of giving the green light to an £87.5m offer for the 22-year-old ahead of next season.
Klopp is allegedly happy with his options in attack, with Roberto Firmino often being used in the number-nine position and Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke acting as backup.
Daniel Sturridge will also return from a loan spell with West Bromwich Albion in the summer, but the England frontman is expected to be sold before the middle of August.
