Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing three La Liga stars ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Reds have struggled to make an impression in the transfer market since Richard Hughes took over the reins as the club's sporting director.
As a result, Hughes has come under scrutiny from some sections of Liverpool's supporter base, especially after he failed to secure the signature of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi last summer.
Hughes has only negotiated two new additions during his tenure, signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus last summer while agreeing a deal for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili to join the club ahead of next season.
The Liverpool sporting director will hope to make further additions ahead of the 2025-26 campaign despite the fact that the club are currently challenging for the Premier League title, in the EFL Cup final and competing in the Champions League knockout rounds.

Liverpool targeting La Liga trio
According to Fichajes, Liverpool boss Arne Slot is targeting three La Liga players to strengthen his squad in the summer transfer window.
The report claims that Real Sociedad winger Take Kubo is among the three players who have emerged as potential targets for the Merseyside club.
Kubo is seen as the 'ideal player' to replace Mohamed Salah, who could leave Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the season.
If Salah were to depart, Kubo could be a viable replacement as a left-footed attacker who tends to play off the right flank.
Kubo, who is under contract until June 2029, has scored six goals and provided three assists in 34 competitive appearances this season.

Sancet, Mosquera feature on Liverpool's radar
The Reds are also said to be admirers of Athletic Club's Oihan Sancet, who has been in stellar form for Ernesto Valverde's side this season.
Sancet, an attacking midfielder, has registered 13 goals and three assists in 25 competitive matches this season, including 12 goals in 20 top-flight matches to leave him in fifth place in La Liga's scoring charts.
As a result of his impressive form, the 24-year-old is likely to be rewarded with a place in Luis de la Fuente's squad for March's UEFA Nations League quarter-final against the Netherlands.
In addition to Kubo and Sancet, Liverpool are considering Valencia defender Christian Mosquera as a potential summer transfer target.
There is a belief that the Spain Under-21 international could be signed as a long-term successor to captain Virgil van Dijk.
Mosquera, who has entered the final 18 months of his contract, has been a regular fixture in a struggling Valencia side this season, having featured in 23 of the club's 24 matches, scoring his first senior goal in a 2-0 win over Leganes earlier this month.
