Liverpool are allegedly interested in signing West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
According to Argentine outlet Diario Ole, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to fill the gap left by Philippe Coutinho's move to Barcelona, despite the club impressing without the Brazilian.
The source adds that Klopp is wary of Liverpool's potential downturn in form should one of his key frontmen suffer injury, and is aiming to add reinforcements to his lineup to soften any such blow.
Lanzini, however, told reporters earlier in the week that he is "very happy" at the Hammers and is not thinking about leaving the London Stadium.
The Argentine international netted in a 2-0 win over Italy on Friday evening.
