Liverpool reportedly have no intention of selling Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich or another top European club for a fee in the region of £25m.

Liverpool will reportedly demand more than £25m when Bayern Munich or another top European club bid for Sadio Mane this summer.

After a hugely successful six-year stint at Anfield and with just 12 months remaining on his contract, the Senegal international is said to be ready to take on a new challenge.

According to reports in Spain, the 30-year-old has already informed manager Jurgen Klopp and his teammates that he plans to move to pastures new over the coming months.

However, AS claims that Liverpool are ready to demand well in excess of the £25m which has been suggested as a potential fee for the attacker.

While the Champions League runners-up will realistically prefer to recoup a fee for Mane, club officials may see the value of keeping Mane until the end of his deal until one of his admirers meet their asking price.

Coincidentally, Bayern find themselves in a similar predicament with Robert Lewandowski, who wants to depart the Allianz Arena but has been told that he will not depart for a cut-price fee.
