Simon Mignolet 'ready to leave Liverpool'

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is reportedly ready to leave Liverpool at the end of the season after falling behind Loris Karius in the pecking order.

Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has reportedly decided that he would like to leave Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

For much of his near-five-year spell at Anfield, Mignolet has been first choice with 202 appearances being made in all competitions.

However, the Belgian stopper has recently been replaced by Loris Karius and it has been claimed that the Merseyside giants are interested in Roma's Alisson.

According to DH, Mignolet has opted to end his time with Liverpool - providing that they agree to sell him - with Serie A said to be his preferred destination.

Napoli allegedly hold an interest in the 30-year-old - who could possibly be signed as a replacement for Pepe Reina - but Borussia Dortmund could also make an approach before the start of next season.
