Luis Suarez says that he wants a "change of environment" and is unsure as to whether or not he will be a Liverpool player next season.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has hinted of a move away from the club after revealing that he wants a "change of environment".

The Uruguayan, who has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, has frequently committed his future to the Reds on numerous occasions in the past.

However, the 26-year-old has admitted that he is unsure of whether or not he will be at Anfield at the start of next season.

"I do not know when I'm going and I do not know if I'm staying," Suarez said at a press conference. "Obviously the club want me to stay, but I've talked to the coach (Brendan Rodgers) and he knows what I want.

"He was a player and my teammates understand that my situation is difficult. It's a good moment for a change of environment because of all I've been through in England, where I haven't been judged as a player but based on other things.

"I have only words of thanks to the club, the fans of Liverpool, but the treatment I received from the rest of England in recent weeks has been tough. [Liverpool] is a spectacular club, but they are aware of the way that the press treats me."

Recent reports claim that Real Madrid have agreed a deal with the player.
