Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is reportedly unlikely to move to Liverpool during the summer transfer window.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is reportedly unlikely to opt for a move to Liverpool this summer.

The Argentina international has been tipped to leave the Etihad Stadium, with club officials thought to be keen on selling in order to prevent the forward from leaving the club for free next year.

While reports have claimed that Liverpool are pondering a £7m bid for the frontman, it is understood that the chances of a transfer materialising are slim, according to talkSPORT.

Liverpool could be in the market for a new striker if Luis Suarez decides to leave the club, with Real Madrid touted as a possible destination for the Uruguayan.
