Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert is closing in on a move to West Bromwich Albion, according to reports.
Despite only moving to Anfield last summer, the 33-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Baggies over the summer.
Albion manager Tony Pulis is now ready to step up his pursuit for the striker after returning from the club's pre-season tour of the USA, and will hold talks with Lambert 'within 24 hours', Sky Sports News reports.
Lambert, who has just two goals in 36 appearances for the Reds, turned down a move to Aston Villa in January.
