Andoni Zubizarreta: 'Luis Suarez is a Barcelona player in all respects'

Barcelona's director of football Andoni Zubizarreta announces that striker Luis Suarez is "a Barca player in all respects".

Barcelona director of football Andoni Zubizarreta has claimed that Luis Suarez is "a Barca player in all respects".

The Uruguayan striker is expected to officially join the Spanish giants this week from Liverpool for around £75m.

Without formally announcing any deal, Zubizarreta has suggested that a medical and personal terms have now all been finalised with Suarez.

"Our lawyers have advised us to to be careful about what we say about Luis Suarez," he told the club's official website. "He is now a Barca player in all respects."

Suarez is expected to sign a five-year contract at the Camp Nou.
