Liverpool's James Milner has no plans to reverse his international retirement for the World Cup, according to a report.
Impressive performances at club level have led to calls for the former Manchester City star to return to England duty for the Russia tournament, but according to The Times, Milner has no desire to return to the Three Lions setup.
England manager Gareth Southgate is said to have tabled the notion of luring Milner out of international retirement when he took over from Sam Allardyce.
The report, however, states that the veteran feels he has benefited from downtime during the international breaks this season.
Milner called time on his England career in the aftermath of Euro 2016 after earning 61 senior caps.
