Lorient head coach Sylvain Ripoll has revealed that he is backing Lyon to clinch the Ligue 1 title this season.
Ripoll watched his side fall to a 3-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Friday night as the champions returned to the top of the table, but he played down the chances of Laurent Blanc's men.
"Who do I think will win the title? From the start I have said Lyon," Ripoll told reporters before Lyon had slipped to a 2-1 loss to Nice on Saturday.
"I am going to stick with them, although it will go down to the wire with Marseille, Paris and even Monaco coming back into it."
Marseille will look to close the gap on the top two when they travel to Lens on Sunday.
