France international Bafetimbi Gomis has claimed that he could yet sign a new contract with Lyon.
The 28-year-old forward's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and he has been strongly linked with interest from Newcastle United, Swansea City and Cardiff City.
Although Gomis admits that he has held talks with other clubs, he insists that a summer exit is far from inevitable.
He told French newspaper Le Progres: "I cannot say anything. It's true that there were discussions, but I do not have any agreement with any club. I do not have my mind elsewhere yet. I am a player of Lyon, with whom I have a lot of ambition.
"We will discuss with the president to find the best solution for both parties. My representatives lead the discussions. In football, nothing is fixed and everything can happen. I can very well leave, like I can very well stay."
Gomis has scored eight goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
