Emmanuel Adebayor's free transfer to Lyon is back on despite initial talks breaking down earlier this week, according to a report.
The 32-year-old has been linked with numerous Premier League and Championship sides over the past fortnight, with his status as a free agent meaning that he can move even though the summer transfer window has now closed.
Adebayor, who scored just one goal in nine appearances for Crystal Palace and was allowed to run down his contract, is now said to be on the brink of returning to football with Lyon.
A report in L'Equipe claims that the Togo international is in the process of holding further talks with the Ligue 1 outfit, just one day on from initial discussions reportedly breaking down.
Turkish club Caykur Rizespor are also understood to have shown an interest in the experienced striker, but Lyon - already with Alexandre Lacazette in their ranks - are confident of wrapping up a deal prior to their weekend clash with Marseille.
