Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette open to transfer

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who is wanted by Arsenal, says that he is open to leaving the club this month.

Alexandre Lacazette has admitted that he will consider leaving Lyon this month if he receives an offer that cannot be refused.

The 25-year-old forward has been pursued by Arsenal this summer, but his club have proven their desire to keep him by rejecting a £29.3m bid from the Gunners earlier in the window.

Despite not completely closing the door on a summer move, Lacazette, who scored a hat-trick in Lyon's 3-0 win over Nancy at the weekend, is happy to remain at the Ligue 1 outfit.

"If there are offers that can't be refused, I'd like to not refuse them, but I'm very comfortable at Lyon," Lacazette told Canal Football Club.

"The proof was there today that I was in the right state of mind. I scored three goals - I'm pleased. With my teammates, everything is going well. So for me all is well."

When asked if there are offers for him to consider, the Frenchman said: "Ask the president."

It was then mentioned that Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has publicly stated that he expects Lacazette to stay.

The striker responded by saying: "I'm going to stay then, if he says so."

Lacazette came through the youth ranks at Lyon, making his senior debut in 2010.
