Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has insisted that his side can defeat Bayern Munich to keep their hopes of reaching the Champions League knockout stages alive.
Manuel Pellegrini's side are currently bottom of Group E, having taken just two points from their four fixtures so far in the competition.
However, Jovetic believes that his side are slowly clicking into gear this season following their victory over Swansea City in the Premier League, and is hopeful of taking that form into the game against Bayern.
"We can talk outside the pitch about how we need to get better," Jovetic told reporters. "But in the end you need to show you are the best team – like we are – and in this game we played much better.
"Now we have a big chance against Bayern Munich. If we win that game – and hopefully the other results are good for us – we have faith we can turn it back around."
City face off against the Bundesliga side on Tuesday at the Etihad Stadium.
