Manchester City assistant manager David Platt believes that his side can win both the Premier League and the FA Cup this season.
The defending English champions are currently five points behind leaders Manchester United in the league standings and have progressed to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
"The 2011 win [in FA Cup final against Stoke City] gave us a taste and a belief we can do it - and we want to do it again," The Sun quotes him as saying. "The hunger is there and it's a great feeling. We were very disappointed when we went out in the third round last year because we had a taste for it.
"The target of this club is to win trophies, that's what we're set up to do. The manager (Roberto Mancini) wants to win everything he is in and it's important because when we set off every season we set off to win things.
"We feel we are involved in both competitions and feel we have the capability of winning both. The fact we went out of Europe means there is not really a backlog of games."
City will take on Queens Park Rangers away from home in the Premier League on Tuesday.
