Manchester City's Sergio Aguero calms injury concerns by admitting he's "okay"

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero calms fears over a back injury by claiming that he is "okay".

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has calmed fears that he could be on the sidelines with injury after he was substituted with a back complaint during last night's game.

The Argentina international netted twice, but was forced to leave the pitch in the 73rd minute of City's 4-1 victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini played down the injury concerns surrounding Aguero after the game, and the player himself has spoken about his fitness via Twitter.

"For the ones asking I'm ok," Aguero tweeted. "I stepped out only for precaution. Now let's keep on working for the very important upcoming commitments."

Aguero's brace was the first time that he found the back of the net in six games.
