Sergio Aguero has described teammate Carlos Tevez as "a super professional" following his return to the Etihad Stadium.
Tevez, who has not appeared for Manchester City following his well-publicised fall-out with Citizens boss Roberto Mancini, has since apologised to the club for his conduct after returning to England last week.
"Tevez is a big footballer and nobody doubts it," his countryman told The Sun.
"I spoke a few times with him while he was absent. He is a super professional and it was up to him to decide about his future.
"I am happy he is back. I think his return could be important for us in the decisive period of this season."
Aguero has scored 15 goals in 24 appearances since arriving at the club in the summer.
