Manchester City midfielder David Silva has been allowed to leave the Spain camp for "personal reasons".
The 32-year-old was part of the Roja team that continued their preparations for the 2018 World Cup with a 1-1 draw against Germany in Dusseldorf on Friday night.
Silva was in line to face Argentina on March 27, but on Saturday, Spain confirmed on their Twitter account that the player has been "released from the squad for personal reasons".
The Citizens star missed several games for the Premier League leaders this season - with boss Pep Guardiola's blessing - to spend time with his wife and son, who was born prematurely.
Man City face Everton in the league next Saturday before heading to Anfield on Wednesday, April 4 to face Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
