Kevin De Bruyne: 'I can be better'

Kevin De Bruyne is confident that he will build on his impressive form since arriving at Manchester City.

Kevin De Bruyne has revealed his determination to improve on a promising start to life as a Manchester City player.

After a long transfer saga in the summer, City finally landed the Belgian playmaker by paying a reported £55m to bring him to the Etihad Stadium from Wolfsburg.

De Bruyne has scored four goals in his first five appearances for the club, but he is certain that he can produce even better displays for the Premier League leaders.

"I am on a good run at the moment and obviously I want to try to keep on scoring, but there will come a time when I will not score that often and that's not a problem for me as long as I put in the good performances, it is fine," the 24-year-old told Sky Sports News.

"I am happy, my family is happy and that is the most important thing for me. In the end, there are a lot of things to do and I need to do. In the next month, when everything is settled and done, I will get more rest and maybe produce some better performances."

City return to action against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
