Leeds United are hoping to claim successive top-flight away wins against Manchester City for the first time in 50 years when they travel to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

Leeds United will be looking to claim back-to-back top-flight away victories against Manchester City for the first time in 50 years when they lock horns in the North West on Tuesday night.

The Whites secured their first ever triumph at the Etihad Stadium last season, when a brace from Stuart Dallas – including a 91st-minute winner – sealed an impressive 2-1 win against the Citizens in April.

Marcelo Bielsa's men are now hoping to cause another upset against the Premier League champions, who have already suffered defeat on home soil against Crystal Palace this term.

Victory for Leeds on Tuesday would see them secure consecutive top-flight away triumphs against Man City for the first time since August 1971.

However, after losing 3-2 away to Chelsea last weekend, the Whites head to Manchester having won only one of their last eight league games on the road and have kept just one clean sheet in the process, a statistic which does not bode well for Bielsa's side.

Leeds are currently sitting 15th in the Premier League table, five points above the relegation zone and four points behind the top 10.
