Roberto Mancini: "It's not difficult to manage Carlos Tevez"

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists that he has no problems managing Argentine striker Carlos Tevez.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has insisted that he does not find it difficult to manage Carlos Tevez.

Mancini infamously had a touchline row with the Argentine striker back in September which resulted in the latter not featuring in the City starting lineup for several months.

However, Tevez returned during the closing stages of the season to play a role in City's first league title success in 44 years.

Discussing his relationship with Tevez, Mancini told BBC Sport that he does not have a problem with the 28-year-old.

"It's not difficult to manage Tevez. He's a good guy, we had a good relationship always," said Mancini.

"I don't know why we had that situation in September but in the end he's a good guy and a fantastic player. No question he made a difference [when he returned]. Carlos is an incredible, top player."

Tevez sparked fresh controversy yesterday evening when he held up a 'RIP Fergie' sign during Man City's trophy parade in Manchester city centre.
