Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric.
The Manchester City boss said that the Croatian is one of the best players in the Premier League, but that it would be hard to get him to move to the Etihad.
"Luka Modric is an outstanding footballer, a great player," Mancini said.
"He is definitely one of the best in the Premier League.
"But it is by no means easy to get him because he plays for a big club, Tottenham. It is unlikely that they would let him leave."
Manchester City are currently second in the Premier League, 15 points ahead of fourth-placed Spurs.
