Manuel Pellegrini: 'Premier League title race not over yet'

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini sees his side go seven points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea but refuses to throw the towel in for the title race.

Manuel Pellegrini has refused to concede defeat in the Premier League title race - despite their 1-1 draw with Hull City leaving them seven points off leaders Chelsea.

James Milner's late free kick rescued a point for the home side and while Chelsea's win at Aston Villa leaves the leaders with a big advantage, Pellegrini said that he is not throwing in the towel yet.

"We're trying to play another way, but it is difficult to know the reason [behind the poor form]," he told Sky Sports News. "Every point you lose of course it is more difficult but in football you never know.

"We're not thinking about Chelsea, they are seven points clear but they can also lose games. More important for our team is to recover our form."

Pellegrini's men travel to Stoke City on Wednesday.
