Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Manchester City

Wolverhampton Wanderers will have to fight off Manchester City at Molineux on Sunday in order to claim some much-needed points.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in desperate need of points as they try to avoid defeat to Manchester City at Molineux on Sunday.

Terry Connor suffered a huge injury blow this week when goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey suffered ankle ligament damage, forcing the 25-year-old out of action for six months.

The means that Dorus de Vries is likely to occupy the goal-line with Richard Stearman and Christophe Berra holding the back four.

Meanwhile, Roberto Mancini is expected to award Carlos Tevez with another starting spot following the Argentina international's hat-trick in City's 6-1 win over Norwich City last Saturday.

Nigel de Jong could make way for Yaya Toure in midfield, with Samir Nasri and David Silva called in to provide service to Tevez and Sergio Aguero.

Current form:

Wolves: LLLLLD
Manchester City: WDDLWW

Possible lineups:

Wolves: De Vries; Zubar, Stearman, Berra, Ward; Forde, Davis, Henry, Kightly; Fletcher, Ebanks-Blake

Manchester City: Hart; Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy; Nasri, Barry, Toure, Silva; Tevez, Aguero
