Team News: Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure on Manchester City bench

Manchester City pair Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure start on the bench against Queens Park Rangers.

Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure have returned to the Manchester City squad for this afternoon's Premier League encounter against Queens Park Rangers.

The pair, who missed the 1-0 win away at Tottenham Hotspur last time out, have been included on the bench by manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Frank Lampard retains his place in midfield, while Eliaquim Mangala will continue to partner Martin Demichelis at the heart of the defence.

Meanwhile, visiting manager Chris Ramsey appears to have adopted a 3-5-2 formation, with Steven Caulker, Richard Dunne and Clint Hill forming the defensive unit.

Man City: Hart; Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov; Fernando, Milner, Fernandinho, Lampard, Silva; Aguero
Subs: Caballero, Sagna, Kompany, Toure, Navas, Dzeko, Bony

QPR: Green; Caulker, Dunne, Hill; Suk-Young, Phillips, Barton, Henry, Fer; Austin, Zamora
