Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry says that he felt "sad" when he heard that Carlos Tevez has signed for Juventus.

Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry believes that Carlos Tevez's departure will prove to be a "massive loss" for the club.

The 29-year-old was presented to the media for the first time as a Juventus player today after finalising a move to Turin in a reported £10m switch.

"It will be a massive loss for Manchester City," Barry told Sky Sports News.

"He has had a fantastic few years there and he has been fantastic to play alongside.

"To hear that news is quite sad but he will go and do a great job wherever he goes."

Tevez moved to City from Manchester United in 2009.
