Everton 'keeping tabs on Manchester City's Willy Caballero'

Manchester City number two Willy Caballero is a reported target for Everton, who may lose long-serving goalkeeper Tim Howard to the MLS in the summer.

Everton are monitoring Willy Caballero's situation at Manchester City, according to a report.

Toffees goalkeeper Tim Howard has been linked with a summer move to Major League Soccer, with David Beckham's fabled Miami franchise said to be among the possible options for the American number one.

The Daily Star claims that City's sister club, New York City and established MLS outfit Sporting Kansas City are also keen to sign Howard.

Roberto Martinez is thought to be unsure about number-two keeper Joel Robles and could move for Caballero.

The Argentine joined the Premier League champions from Malaga last summer, but has found opportunities at a premium, with England international Joe Hart remaining as first choice.

While clubs in La Liga are rumoured to be interested in the 33-year-old, Everton are reported to be leading the race.
