Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has claimed that he nearly joined Italian champions Juventus over the summer.
The Montenegro international, 23, arrived at the Etihad Stadium from Fiorentina for £22m in July.
"If I would have not gone to Manchester City, I would have gone to Juventus," he told Tuttosport.
"I was aware of the deal, I read about it on the newspapers and I know that they were speaking with my agent.
"In the end, however, I chose to go abroad and now I'm happy. I don't regret the choice I made."
Jovetic has scored two goals in three games for City so far this season.
